Below are some of the most common questions, with answers, about buying and owning JX Tactical "fat guy" holsters and accessories.

What are the attachment options for the standard IWB (in-the-waistband) and the "Fat Guy" IWB holster?
JX Tactical IWB holsters come with three attachment options: soft loops, standard clip, and Ulticlip. Soft loops and standard clip are designed to work with a belt.
- The standard clip is a plastic clip that slides over the top of the belt. It is easy on easy off and provides a good comfortable carry.
- The soft loops are a pair flexible loops that wrap around the belt and snap closed. They are very secure and comfortable.
- The Ulticlip is designed primarily for non-belted clothing such as shorts, sweatpants, athletic wear, yoga pants, and skirts (women wear these holsters too!) But also can be worn with a belt and either clamp onto the belt or be worn behind it for the most concealable option. The Ulticlip is a very strong and secure attachment.

Which attachment should I order?
Consider what clothes you will be wearing when you carry. We offer the option of ordering more than one attachment with your holster. It is worth the extra dollars to have the flexibility of carrying no matter what you are wearing. For example, ordering the soft loops and the Ulticlip gives you the option of carrying with a belt and without. While the soft loops and standard clips utilize the same attachment holes, the Ulticlip does not. Your holster must be crafted to accommodate the Ulticlip attachment, so if you are considering the Ulticlip, if should be ordered at the time of your original order. How do I change the attachment on my holster?
Attachments are easily interchangeable with each other. You will need a phillips head screw driver and that is it! **In some cases, you also may find it useful to have a flat head screwdriver to hold the back of the fastener as you screw it into place.
Where can I purchase additional hardware if I need a replacement?
We have a Replacement Hardware Pack available for purchase on our Accessories page. This hardware pack comes with everything you will need to replace attachment hardware (not including the actual attachments themselves) and the tension screw/spacer.
What adjustments does the "Fat Guy" holster have, and how do I make adjustments?
The "Fat Guy" holster has adjustments for ride height and for cant.
--Ride Height can be changed by adjusting the location of the attachment. The "Fat Guy" holsters are shipped with multiple holes for ease of ride height adjustment.
--Cant adjustment offers a way to carry your holster at a slight angle. Adjusting the cant offers options for comfort and function.
How long will it take to receive my holster?
All of our pistol holsters are hand-crafted to order. Our lead time can vary from week to week; however, we do our best to keep the lead time low, and we publish the current lead time on our "fat guy" holster order page and in the "Please Note" section on our Contact Us page. This past year has been unusual as the pandemic has caused some unexpected challenges here and there. But we always have a plan to adjust so that we can make sure that your order is shipped out as soon as possible.
What shipping method do you use and how long does shipping take?
We ship our holsters via USPS First Class Package mail. USPS typically takes 3-4 business days to deliver; HOWEVER, USPS has been experiencing some delays in their shipping, as noted on their website. Therefore, we cannot guarantee how long your holster will take to arrive once we turn your package over to the USPS. Once your order is prepared for shipment, you will receive an email with the USPS tracking number. You can monitor your holster's journey using the tracking number. What are your shipping charges?
We offer free shipping for orders of $75 or more. Just choose the free shipping option during checkout.
Orders under $75 have a flat-rate $5 shipping charge.
Do you ship internationally?
We do offer shipping outside of the US to many different countries. Please contact us for more information about our international shipping costs and policies.
Do JX Tactical Holsters have a warranty?
Yes! Our holsters have a 30-day workmanship warranty. Under this warranty we will correct any workmanship defects for up to 30 days from the delivery date of your holster. This may include, but is not limited to, shipping replacement parts or rebuilding your holster. If you believe your holster has a defect, please contact us for next steps.
Are your holsters returnable?
If we make an error in your holster order fulfillment, we will make sure that your order is corrected as quickly as possible. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving the holster to let us know what the error was and provide us with pictures so that we can begin an exchange/return process.
For all other situations, JX Tactical "Fat Guy", IWB, and OWB pistol holsters are not returnable. There are two main reasons for this: 1) Every pistol holster is built-to-order, think of a custom order. Most companies do not accept returns of custom orders. 2) "Fat Guy" holsters are appendix-carry, inside-the-waistband holsters. Because of this, they are carried in very sensitive areas of the body. We want customers to be assured that we do not sell holsters that have been in the sensitive areas of another customer's body. Due to an influx of incorrect orders, please note the following. If you order incorrectly, we can not refund the order. It is the customer's responsibility to order a product that will accommodate the correct gun, light, attachment. If you do not see your exact model on the drop down list, this means we do not have a holster that will accommodate your model.
If you have questions regarding which model to order, including attachments, lights, and other modifications, please contact us before placing your order.
In rare circumstances, at our discretion, a return may be authorized. In these rare situations, a $15 restocking fee WILL be charged and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping. If an exchange is authorized, the customer will also be responsible for a $5 shipping charge (for the replacement item) in addition to the restocking fee and returning the return product. *The $15 restocking fee does not apply to returns/exchanges that are a result of a JX Tactical fulfillment error.
What if I don't see the model/combo that I want to order on the dropdown order list?
If you do not see your exact model in the drop down list, this means we do not have a holster available for your model. We do, however, keep track of customer interest as we look at potential models for future addition to our product lines. So, please, email us with the model you are looking for and/or interested in!
