Fat Guy Holster®

I haven't really had the chances to put it through it's paces yet but from a quality and construction standpoint, it appears to be top notch and I can't imagine it gets more adjustable. If it performs as well as it appears to be made I'll regret not giving it that 5th star. Also the service was excellent. I originally ordered it in a different configuration and they were able to stop that order in time and still get my holster out in just days.

So far, I have been thoroughly impressed with my holster. It is comfortable, noninvasive, and functions well. The only complaint I can claim is not regarding the product, but rather finding the right position on myself to secure the most concealment, and best draw.

I was impressed with the holster I have for my G48 that this was the first thing I ordered when I got another firearm. As a heavier set guy I love how far down this holster sits and makes things a lot more comfortable.

The quality of the holster is 5 star, the comfort is 5 star. The only reason for the 3 star review is that the holster comes default with an optic cut. It should be optional to get one without it like they used to offer. I want more full coverage of the firearm because I don't have an optic.

Unbelievable. Build quality and comfort far exceeded my expectations. I'm recommending this holster to everyone I know.

I’ve purchased 3 holsters from JX for 3 different guns. I’m never disappointed with them. They’re always comfy, low riding and have great retention. And they have a lot of options for different lights for your firearm. The P365-X Macro, however, was my first time having an issue. Admittedly, I bought the wrong model TLR-7 for the holster I bought. JX offered to send me a replacement when they had a holster ready that fit my light. Not wanting to wait, I just bought the correct light. Fitment was great. But then, I noticed the retention was too tight and cause hang ups on my draw stroke. I corrected this by adding my own longer retention screw and double washers to the holster to make sure I don’t hang up on the draw. I emailed JX to let them know my issue, how I corrected it, and offered advice on how to save customers that hassle in the future. Not only were they pleased to have “front lines” advice but they even decided to send me better hardware to be able to loosen the retention comfortably. I back this company fully. Their customer service and products are top notch.

This holster is very well made with smooth edges and tight retention. My review is more on the personal side. I would like some of the material around the retention screw to be removed, it seems unnecessary. Also adding a second screw for would be nice for some better retention adjustment. I would also like some sort of wing that maybe could be attached to the retention screws. Overall this holster made carrying much more comfortable for me. Sits lower under my gut so I can bend and sit comfortably. carrying was getting very frustrating until I found this.

I’ve ordered a holster for my glock 43 in the past and it fit like a glove, still very happy with it so I decided to come back and get one for my glock 19..this time however I was disappointed. The fit is too tight even with the screw adjusted out as much as I could. It seems to be scrapping the top of my gun when it goes in. I think I may try sanding the inside and seeing if that helps. These holsters are formed gun and optic specific so I was a little confused about my problem. Idk if I had a bad batch or what.
